Keyboard lessons are run weekly.  The lessons are proving very popular with our pupils.  The lessons cover practical keyboard skills and also theory. Theory of music is an important part of the learning process for any practical instrument. 

We have had an excellent response to the opportunity to learn guitar and ten pupils have started lessons. It is lovely that so many of the children were interested. Hopefully they will be featuring in future concerts.

Tilehouse Combined School has under 10 and under 11 teams and plays in the Small Schools' League.  The school is also involved with the Wycombe Wanderers Football in the Community Scheme and the children have the opportunity to be trained by a professional coach.

The Netball Team is made up of children from Years 5 and 6 and plays fixtures throughout the Autumn and Spring terms.  Netball Club meets on Tuesday afternoons after school.

Tilehouse Combined School after school Art Clubs for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.  Activities include working with a wide range of tools and materials. 

Tilehouse has a Dance Club that meets throughout the school year.   The Club gives performances at events such as the Summer Fete and 'Kids on the Catwalk'.  There is always lots of lively music and laughter on Thursday evenings after school.

The National Pyramid Trust (NPT) for children helps primary school children to fulfil their potential by building their self-esteem and resilience. NPT works with local multi-agency partnerships of statutory and voluntary organisations and runs its programmes through local primary schools including Tilehouse. Children’s emotional and social difficulties are recognised and responded to positively, usually through clubs that help children make friends and build their self-esteem.
